Net profit falls 16% to ₹1,131.6 cr; revenue rises 25%

Tech Mahindra Q1 results: Revenue increased by 24.6 percent year over year to Rs 12,708 crore from Rs 10,197.60 crore in the similar quarter previous year.
The company's revenue increased by 21% year over year to Rs 12,116 crore in Q4FY22.
According to the company's quarterly statistics for FY22, the EBITDA reached a high of Rs 2,176.40 crore in the second quarter. In Q4FY22, this decreased to Rs 1,404.10 crore.
The quarter's revenue was Rs 12,708 crore, a 24.6 percent increase over the Rs 10,197.60 crore earned during the same period the previous year.
Dollar revenue for the quarter was Rs 1,632 million, an increase of 1.5% from the prior period (or up 18 percent year-on-year). Revenue growth quarter over quarter was 3.5 percent in constant currency (QoQ).
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation, or EBITDA, were Rs 1,880 crore, up 0.2 percent year over year but down 10% quarter over quarter.
The profit after tax (PAT) for Q4FY22 was 1,038 crore. The PAT for the third fiscal quarter of 2018 was Rs 1,329 crore. With a PAT of Rs 1,559 crore, Q2 had the highest PAT.
Net headcount increased by 6,862 QoQ to 158,035. On a year-over-year basis, attrition for the quarter dropped from 24 percent in the March quarter to 22 percent, although it was still higher than the 17% attrition in the prior quarter.
